Music provides much more than aesthetic benefits. Many studies have demonstrated a link between active music making and increased academic success. One of the best ways to benefit from music is through private lessons. as they help teach your student the proper theory and technique in their chosen instrument. We believe that finding the right teacher can make all the difference with your student's progress. We offer private instruction for students ranging in ability from beginning to advanced. Our starting ages vary between instruments.
We offer private instruction in violin, viola or cello for ages 5 to adult. Our strings curriculum combines Suzuki Method and a Traditional program. For younger children we highly encourage a parent to sit in on the lesson to help the student at home with things such as posture and hand positioning.
We offer private piano instruction for all ages and abilities from beginning to advanced students.
We offer private instruction for Flute, Clarinet, and Saxophone from beginning to intermediate levels and all levels of Oboe. Students start at age 10.
We offer private instruction in electric and acoustic guitar. As well as uklele. Students start at age 8.
(Age 1 to 3)
Children learn best when they feel loved, this is the basis of Mommy and Me. We will explore music through singing, movement and musical play. This class will focus on Rhythm and Beat, vocal & pitch, fine motor skills, classical, traditional and folk music all weaved together in a fun and entertaining 30 minutes.
(Age 4 and up)
It’s time to get students ready for private music lessons. Students are introduced to the 5 lines and spaces and note names of the staff, sing the major scale using solfege hand signs, learn to keep a steady beat, match pitch, and much more! Students will explore the all the different musical instruments through a “petting zoo”. We want to help the student choose a musical path.
